Veronica Lara, M.A., BCBA, LBA
Founder and Clinical Director
My Story
Veronica brings years of experience working with people of all abilities. It has always been her passion and calling in life to help and serve others. She graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor's in Psychology. While still in undergraduate school she worked with children and adolescents in a residential facility receiving psychiatric and behavioral treatment, and with adults receiving treatment for traumatic brain injuries.
Veronica began her journey in ABA shortly after graduating from Texas State. In 2014, Veronica became a behavior therapist for children and adolescents with autism, providing services in the clinic, home, and community settings. Her experience in ABA includes training and overseeing treatment integrity for behavior technicians providing direct ABA services. In 2018, Veronica graduated from Florida Institute of Technology with a Masters in Professional Behavior Analysis and became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in 2019. As a BCBA, Veronica has worked with families from different backgrounds and clients ranging from toddlers to teenagers. Her experience includes providing remote supervision and services to clients in California. During the pandemic, when clinics closed and clinicians were tasked with the challenge of continuing providing services, Veronica's experience working remotely proved to be an asset as she maintained that continuity of care for her clients via telehealth. Most recently, Veronica specialized in early intervention working with newly diagnosed children and their families.
